Colourful Captures

I’ve decided to start a feature where I can just share snippet of my life in pictures…

Just happy little posts…with fun photos of my life…hope you enjoy!

Travel Bag

Managed to pack almost all of my clothes in this duffel for our 7 week trip. Very proud of me.

I love kitties

Found this kitty outside my door at B&B we stayed at. It joined me in bed and we cuddled (smile).

Music

Can I keep him

I want him.

Mothers Day

Mothers Day. So grateful to God for this amazing woman!

No words for my gratefulness for ginger

With so much traveling, I have become obsessed with Gin – Gins, ginger-ale, and open windows. I never used to get motion sickness (sad face).

Any natural tips for cars sickness? What’s been up in your life?

7 weeks in that one bag?? I am seriously impressed!

  2. Laura @ Mommy Run Fast

Awww! Love the pic of you and your mom!

My mom would either give us those arm bands for motion sickness (I also wore them while pregnant to help with morning sickness) or instruct us to put a penny in our navels. It’s probably all in my head, but these things worked for me.

Yay for mommies! I was lucky to see my mom for Mothers Day too.

I’ve suffered with motion sickness all my days. Tip: don’t look out side windows….look only forward in the direction you are going. A front seat helps accomplish that, you just have to raise your voice a bit for conversations with back seat occupants. Gravol always makes me dopey so I always resort to facing forward…”forgetting the things that are behind…” Tip 2: ask others to pray for you…I’m praying! :)

Mrs. Skarbo – Thank you! Those are new & refreshing tips! Thank you for your prayers!
Shannonmarie – That’s interesting – never heard of those ideas!

I forgot…dangling a rubber strip from car body (or maybe the frame), letting it have contact with pavement, also helps…vehicle is then grounded and somehow that helps. Removes excess static electricity or something. Let us know how these tips work.
