More Challenge Questions and a Smoothie

Hey guys! Are you excited to start the challenge tomorrow? Due to my night owl tendencies, I guess tomorrow is about one hour away, so it’s not long! Oh, and guess what?! We have another cool prize being added to the challenge – so check out the challenge post to see what it is!

I also wanted to address a few more questions I’ve gotten about the challenge/my goals for July…so here they are:

Chelsea B asked, “Would the smoothie be a substitution for a meal? Or a snack?”

Whatever you want! Meal, snack…doesn’t matter! Personally, I’m doing my one smoothie a day as meal replacement, but you can do it whatever way you like!

Svetlana asked, “Will you be publishing what the smoothies recipes are? That would be cool.”

You can make whatever smoothies you want! However, I will be doing lots of smoothie recipes on the blog this month so you can try those too!

Rachel asked, “How do you plan to “take” spirulina daily? Are you going to put it in your smoothie every day? How much do you normally put in each smoothie? Thank you!”

I take it every day in tablet form (6 tablets), except on the days that I take 1 teaspoon of it in a smoothie or juice. The brand I use is Nutrex Hawaii and I’m SO impressed with it.

Andrea asked, “What a great challenge!!! We can use any type of ingredients for these smoothies correct?”

ABSOLUTELY! Make this month about discovering new recipes and incorporating colour and variety into your smoothies!

Since tomorrow is Canada Day (and my amazing Dad’s b-day), I’m going to leave you with a delicious smoothie to celebrate it with! It’s my vegan strawberry and vanilla milkshake.

    Happy belated Canada Day to you. I’m American, so I was thinking about doing your vegan strawberry vanilla milkshake for our Fourth of July with blueberries, too.
