I feel this deep sense of relief.<\/p>\n

It’s been over 7 months since my car accident and only a few days ago I had my final doctor’s appointment. After my examination, the doctor cleared me to be able to work again. You have no idea how amazing this feels!<\/p>\n

There’s literally no feeling that describes my gratefulness to God during these last few months. If you’re a new reader, or don’t know what happened, you can read about my accident here<\/a>. I literally spent months in bed. To say it was hard is a gross understatement. I had never been through such loneliness, pain, and had so many questions…but through it all, God showed Himself to me in a really special way. I remember, especially in the first several weeks I could barely look at my phone because it hurt my eyes, so I would just lie there and talk to God. It sounds ridiculous, but even though it was a tough time, it was the sweetest.<\/p>\n

Now as I walk and do short workouts and have returned to having a social life, my heart is grateful in another way. Life becoming “normal” again. Whatever that is.<\/p>\n

I’m so excited for this new chapter as I start applying for jobs and think about moving. To say I’m out of the woods is true…although I still have days where I have headaches no-painkiller-can-fix or where I’m past the point of “old lady exhausted” – but that’s NOTHING. I shouldn’t be alive, or at the least, should be in a wheelchair forever.<\/p>\n
