I feel like there is no better way to end it than to share one of the most decadent smoothies (or more truthfully, a milkshake!) I&#8217;ve made this whole month.<\/p>\n<p>Have you ever had a <!--more-->fast food strawberry milkshake? They&#8217;re so good&#8230;but so bad. I made this milkshake to taste very similar, but without all questionable, guilt inducing milkshake ingredients.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-5969\" alt=\"Strawberries used in a Decadent Low Carb Milkshake\" src=\"https:\/\/www.colourfulpalate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Strawberries-used-in-a-Decadent-Low-Carb-Milkshake-510x340.jpg\" width=\"510\" height=\"340\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.colourfulpalate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Strawberries-used-in-a-Decadent-Low-Carb-Milkshake-510x340.jpg 510w, https:\/\/www.colourfulpalate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Strawberries-used-in-a-Decadent-Low-Carb-Milkshake-1024x682.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 510px) 100vw, 510px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"recipeTitle\">\u00a0Most Decadent Strawberry Milkshake<\/h2>\n<ol class=\"recipe\">\n<li>\u00a01 cup almond milk, unsweetened<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup half and half<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup heavy cream*<\/li>\n<li>1\/8 classic stevia syrup<\/li>\n<li>1-2 tsp. pure vanilla extract<\/li>\n<li>Pinch of pure sea salt<\/li>\n<li>1 cup fresh strawberries<\/li>\n<li>3-6 ice cubes (optional)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><em>*If you want to cut the fat a little bit, replace with half &amp; half<\/em><br \/>\n<em>**If you&#8217;re more vegan inclined, just replace the cream with coconut cream<\/em><\/p>\n<p>This recipe takes a little bit of prep, as what I essentially did was blend <a title=\"Low Carb Vanilla Ice-Cream Recipe\" href=\"https:\/\/www.colourfulpalate.com\/2015\/05\/14\/low-carb-vanilla-ice-cream\/\" target=\"_blank\">my low carb vanilla ice-cream<\/a> with fruit and ice, for that true &#8220;milkshake feel&#8221;. You can make the ice-cream a few hours before and freeze it (ice-cube trays make it easier to blend), or in the ice-cream maker a half hour before you make the milkshake. Or you can just blend everything up and put in the freezer for a little bit for a thick texture.<\/p>\n<p>I have also made this recipe adding some superfoods like Philosophie&#8217;s <a title=\"Berry Bliss\" href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/1eeShcF\" target=\"_blank\">Berry Bliss<\/a>, protein powder, and <a title=\"Beet Root Powder\" href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/1IogXeW\" target=\"_blank\">beet root powder<\/a>.
