When it comes to holidays or special events, I don\u2019t usually say no to dessert \u2013 I eat healthy enough during the week, that a splurge on the weekend isn\u2019t a big deal. However, this time, I wanted to emphasize my healthy eating habits before January 1<sup>st<\/sup>. I know how I am after one bite of chocolate\u2026I can\u2019t say no to another. Nope.<\/p>\n<p>This resolve carried over to my low carb snacking choices. On New Year\u2019s Eve, I filled up on lots of veggies, shrimp, and cheese. Have I ever mentioned how much I love cheese?<\/p>\n<p>Everything is better with cheese. #truth<\/p>\n<p>However, while I don\u2019t have anything against normal kinds of cheese, I sometimes like to have a lower calorie cheese for snacks. Yet, I don\u2019t like to sacrifice taste for healthy or low calorie option. I think food should always be delicious. It\u2019s smooth and delectably creamy at only 45 calories per wedge! I love the light version of this (even less cals!) on a piece of sprouted, whole grain toast or bagel topped with homemade jam. Even just having this cheese on the side with a bowl of fresh fruit is divine.<\/p>\n<p>Another combination I love is real bacon bits sprinkled on top of the LC cream cheese.
