I\u2019m a prairie girl and I\u2019m used to dry and warm.<\/p>\n<p>That being<!--more--> the case, there\u2019s been lots of hoodies and hot drinks. For some reason, coffee hasn&#8217;t been agreeing with me lately (making me feel sort of nauseous), so tea has been my drink of choice.<\/p>\n<p>I LOVE tea and while I\u2019m good with most any brand, I have to say that David\u2019s Tea is my favourite. Here I\u2019m steaming plain almond milk and I like to make my tea actually HALF MILK. It\u2019s really creamy this way and feels more \u201cdessert-like\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4462\" alt=\"Steam almond milk for tea\" src=\"https:\/\/www.colourfulpalate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Steam-almond-milk-for-tea-510x387.jpg\" width=\"510\" height=\"387\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.colourfulpalate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Steam-almond-milk-for-tea-510x387.jpg 510w, https:\/\/www.colourfulpalate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Steam-almond-milk-for-tea-1024x778.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.colourfulpalate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Steam-almond-milk-for-tea.jpg 1420w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 510px) 100vw, 510px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I steep the tea bag in the half milk\/half boiling water for the time it says on the package of tea (usually 2-3 minutes).<\/p>\n<p>For sweetener, I\u2019ve been trying to veer away from high-sugar options like honey\u2026so I really love using <a title=\"NuNaturals stevia\" href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/OzkJEo\" target=\"_blank\">NuNaturals vanilla stevia<\/a> for a sweetener.
