Growing up, I remember having this for lunch when we were all in a hurry and just wanted something quickly\u2026or for those times unexpected company popped in for lunch.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re vegan or dairy free<!--more-->, skip the milk and use almond milk instead. If you\u2019re looking for more protein, add some cooked, chopped chicken.<\/p>\n<p>Feel free to add more veggies or swap ingredients out\u2026this is a basic soup recipe that you can do whatever you want with.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"recipeTitle\">Creamy Corn Chowder<\/h2>\n<ol class=\"recipe\">\n<li>1 yellow onion<\/li>\n<li>1 green pepper<\/li>\n<li>1 garlic clove<\/li>\n<li>2 tsp. olive oil<\/li>\n<li>1 can creamed corn<\/li>\n<li>1 can milk<\/li>\n<li>salt and pepper, to taste<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Chop your veggies and fry until cooked in olive oil. Then add one can of creamed corn and fill that same can up with the milk.\u00a0 Heat until it&#8217;s your desired &#8220;soup-eating&#8221; temperature.
