I have been SOOOO excited about this post for weeks! The idea came to me a while ago and I started making plans to make this a super fun challenge for you guys and myself. Next Sunday (July 1st) all the fun starts!<\/strong><\/p>\n Here\u2019s the deal\u2026<\/p>\n For the whole month of July I\u2019m challenging myself to one smoothie a day \u2013 and I\u2019m challenging you to join in with me! All you have to do is tweet me pictures of your smoothies!<\/p>\n Come on! Who wouldn’t want to enjoy a colourful smoothie<\/a> like this every day?! But that’s not all, because there are prizes!<\/p>\n There\u2019s going to be some serious fun for you guys because the amazing folks at Vega are giving away some goodies\u2026<\/p>\n How about 5 pouches of their new Energizing Smoothie<\/a> line for a grand prize?<\/p>\n I am so excited about their new line<\/a> \u2013 it\u2019s really amazing stuff (review coming later!).<\/p>\n Also, every week<\/strong>, one random participant will win one of those smoothie pouches of their choice \u2013 is that not cool?!<\/p>\n But that is not all\u2026FitMixer<\/a> is donating the second prize! The prize is a product<\/a> of their choice and a FitMixer bottle<\/a>.<\/p>\n Strawesome<\/a> has offered one of the contest winners one of their “Artist’s Choice” straws. I love the idea of reusable glass straws for my smoothies and am so glad they want to be a part of this!<\/p>\n There will also be a prize of the amazing BlenderBottle<\/a> for on of you participants too! Wahoo…so much good swag going on!<\/p>\n Why I’m Excited…<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n So how do you join in on the fun?<\/strong><\/p>\n First of all, make sure to comment below and let me know if you\u2019re planning on joining the challenge! This will make you eligible to win the weekly prize!<\/p>\n From there, it\u2019s all about scoring points.<\/strong> Whoever gets the most points will win the grand prize and next will win second\u2026 Here\u2019s how the scoring system works: (and don\u2019t worry, I\u2019ll be tracking all your points!)<\/p>\n -1 point for every smoothie you tweet\/email<\/strong> -3 points for telling your friends about the challenge on twitter (remember to use the hashtag #colourfulpalate)<\/strong> – up to 3x<\/strong> -3 points every time you make one of my smoothies<\/a> (mention it when you tweet your photo in)<\/strong> -4 points for sharing about the challenge on your blog\/site AND adding the image below – you must link to me so I’ll know to count your points<\/strong> -5 points for having a smoothie EVERY DAY for the month of July!<\/strong><\/p>\n The challenge will be over on July 31st – and the winners will be announced on the 2nd of August. The weekly prizes will be announced throughout the challenge. It’s open to US and Canada.
