I love to make these for a post-workout snack and I also eat them for breakfast.\u00a0 Yum&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2375\" title=\"chickpeas 01 (3)\" src=\"https:\/\/www.colourfulpalate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/chickpeas-01-3-510x340.jpg\" alt=\"chickpeas 01 (3)\" width=\"510\" height=\"340\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.colourfulpalate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/chickpeas-01-3-510x340.jpg 510w, https:\/\/www.colourfulpalate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/chickpeas-01-3-1024x682.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.colourfulpalate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/chickpeas-01-3.jpg 1620w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 510px) 100vw, 510px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"recipeTitle\">Cookie Dough Energy Bites<\/h2>\n<ol class=\"recipe\">\n<li>1 can chickpeas<\/li>\n<li>3 Tablespoons nut butter of your choice<\/li>\n<li>2 scoops protein powder (optional) &#8211; I put protein powder in everything!<\/li>\n<li>Sweetener of your choice, to taste &#8211; I use 3 packets of stevia and 2 Tbsp of agave*<\/li>\n<li>2 Tbsp almond milk<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 cup of quick oats<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 cup of mini chocolate chips<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>*If you aren&#8217;t familiar with stevia though, I would use about 3 Tbsp of agave.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2374\" title=\"chickpeas 01 (2)\" src=\"https:\/\/www.colourfulpalate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/chickpeas-01-2-510x340.jpg\" alt=\"chickpeas 01 (2)\" width=\"510\" height=\"340\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.colourfulpalate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/chickpeas-01-2-510x340.jpg 510w, https:\/\/www.colourfulpalate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/chickpeas-01-2-1024x682.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.colourfulpalate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/chickpeas-01-2.jpg 1620w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 510px) 100vw, 510px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>To begin, rinse and drain your chickpeas well.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2373\" title=\"chickpeas 01 (1)\" src=\"https:\/\/www.colourfulpalate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/chickpeas-01-1-510x340.jpg\" alt=\"chickpeas 01 (1)\" width=\"510\" height=\"340\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.colourfulpalate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/chickpeas-01-1-510x340.jpg 510w, https:\/\/www.colourfulpalate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/chickpeas-01-1-1024x682.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.colourfulpalate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/chickpeas-01-1.jpg 1620w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 510px) 100vw, 510px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In a food processor (I don&#8217;t have one, so I use my blender), Blend the first five ingredients until combined well.\u00a0 Then, mix in your quick oats and mini chocolate chips by hand.\u00a0 The dough should be thick enough to form a ball but not clumpy.
