I know I did&#8230;I spent most of my day studying and catching up on projects, doing a quick workout, making Valentine notes, and hanging out with my family for our special<!--more--> Valentines dinner. I don&#8217;t need to tell you that chocolate was involved. We often leave chocolate and love notes on everyone&#8217;s plates&#8230;even my niece contributed her special chocolate covered peanuts she had made herself! She&#8217;s such a sweetie and makes terrific chocolate.<\/p>\n<p>But now it&#8217;s time to burn off that extra chocolate!<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s an ab\/core workout that I did the other day. If you\u2019re more advanced in fitness, hold your plank for a minute each. If you\u2019re good at pushups, do 10-20. I still find pushups really hard (the guy version), so I\u2019m just adjusting myself gradually. I&#8217;m up to 10 in a row now&#8230;yay for me! A few months ago I was contacted by <a title=\"SheKnows\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sheknows.com\/ca\" target=\"_blank\">SheKnows<\/a> to see if I\u2019d be interested in writing recipes for their sister site, <a title=\"FabFoods\" href=\"http:\/\/www.fabulousfoods.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Fab Foods<\/a>. Of course, I was very interested and asked for more info. When all was said and done, I decided I couldn\u2019t pass the opportunity up!<\/p>\n<p>One of the reasons I was so excited to be a part of SheKnows, is the fact that, a few years ago, it was one of the websites that helped me achieve more balance in the food area of my life. I was too rigid and intense with what I was eating, when, what combination, how it was prepared, and I just wasn\u2019t really balanced. SheKnows was part of the equation that helped me become excited about living a balanced life.<\/p>\n<p>And now\u2026I\u2019m writing recipes for them!
