I decided that once the New Year rolled around, I\u2019d start making that more of a priority with my site. Fitness is a big part of my life, especially now that I\u2019m going into that field as<!--more--> a profession. So I\u2019m excited about sharing some fun fitness stuff with you all!<\/p>\n<p>I saw this funny flowchart on <a title=\"Should I workout today?\" href=\"http:\/\/pinterest.com\/pin\/191614159115311776\/\" target=\"_blank\">Pinterest<\/a> and thought I\u2019d share it with you! It\u2019s a lower body workout focused mainly on legwork (hence the name). So grab your iPod, some 5lb weights, and complete this as many times as you need to get those legs shaking! (smile)<\/p>\n<p>Seriously though, after I\u2019ve finished an intense workout, sometimes my legs or arms will shake for a while. It just makes me smile, because I know I gave it all I had, and it really does feel \u201cgood\u201d. (Yes, some of us fitness nuts have weird definitions of \u201cfeeling good\u201d) Just be careful to maintain good form in all these exercises!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1830\" title=\"Shaky Leg Workout 01\" src=\"https:\/\/www.colourfulpalate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/docs.google.com-screen-capture-2012-1-16-16-44-56-510x558.jpg\" alt=\"Shaky Leg Workout 01\" width=\"510\" height=\"558\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.colourfulpalate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/docs.google.com-screen-capture-2012-1-16-16-44-56-510x558.jpg 510w, https:\/\/www.colourfulpalate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/docs.google.com-screen-capture-2012-1-16-16-44-56.jpg 987w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 510px) 100vw, 510px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Note:<\/strong><\/span> Try to do all three sets without rest! For my second set, I did bicep curls with the lunge to target other arm muscles.<\/p>\n<p>To make this workout a little harder and burn those arms, keep your arms up at a 90 degree angle when you&#8217;re doing the shoulder press (with the sumo squat). Don&#8217;t drop your arms below your shoulders for the whole sumo squat exercise.<\/p>\n<p>Also, toe touches are done on lying on the floor, with your legs pencil-straight up. Crunch up to touch your toes (or as far as you can reach) with both arms extended.<\/p>\n<p>This workout takes about 20-25 minutes and it&#8217;s intense! It really got my heart going!
