I can\u2019t believe Christmas is already over\u2026but what a special day it was. Our Christmas was pretty small\u2026my brother and his family came over, as well as my Grandparents. On New Year\u2019s almost my entire family will be here, which will be so crazy fun!<\/p>\n

We started the day off with delicious eggnog and homemade Christmas bread, our traditional breakfast!<\/p>\n

Then once my brother\u2019s family and my Grandparents arrived\u2026we read from the Bible, talked about the Christmas story, and then… obviously, it was time for presents.<\/p>\n

My niece could hardly wait. Actually I couldn\u2019t either. We both just fidgeted until it was present time.<\/p>\n

She is such a little drama queen\u2026she knows how to get everyone to laugh!<\/p>\n

\"Christmas<\/p>\n

This little girl and her brothers made Christmas extra special with their uncontained excitement and giggling!<\/p>\n

\"Picnik<\/p>\n

Everyone had such fun watching them open their presents\u2026<\/p>\n

At our house, we all draw names for each other and that person gets an extra-special present. I drew my sister-in-love\u2019s (that\u2019s what we call our sister-in-laws round here\u2026they\u2019re just like sisters anyway!) name\u2026and so I painted her a painting of a picture that she liked.<\/p>\n

After gift opening, it was quite a mess\u2026with gifts and wrapping and ribbons\u2026absolutely everywhere.<\/p>\n

\"Christmas<\/p>\n

But once cleanup was over, we all sat down to our Christmas dinner. My Mom is the most incredible cook ever. Period.<\/p>\n

Little niece was quite excited about her party favor and wore her paper crown the whole meal.<\/p>\n

The rest of the evening, was spent playing games, eating as much chocolate as possible, lounging in the living room while chatting, and being blissfully lazy.<\/p>\n

My niece did a puzzle with Great Grandma. She is so busy and always needs to be doing something\u2026so cute.<\/p>\n

\"Christmas<\/p>\n

All in all, it was such an amazing day celebrating God\u2019s gift to us and the gift of each other. I am so blessed to be in the family that I am!<\/p>\n

Oh, and for gifts\u2026well, I just have to share some of my favourites!<\/p>\n
