I make them a million ways, but this is one of my favourite versions! I had one of these fat, big pancakes after a hard morning workout this morning before everyone <!--more-->else was up (sometimes that\u2019s the only way to get your workouts in!) and it was a-mahhhh-ziiing! It\u2019s got loads of protein (with my protein powder about 30g!), fibre, healthy fats, it&#8217;s gluten free, dairy free, and it\u2019s filling\u2026which is why this is one of my favourite breakfasts ever.<\/p>\n<p>This is a basic recipe\u2026use your imagination and go wild! There\u2019s lots of fun flavours you can make\u2026I\u2019m sure I\u2019ll be posting more of them! Maybe coconut chocolate (since I\u2019m craving of <a title=\"Chocolate Coconut Smoothie\" href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/T3LvHP\" target=\"_blank\">this combo<\/a> lately!) banana, blueberry, or peanut butter! Mmmmm\u2026<\/p>\n<p>I used a whole organic egg in this because I\u2019m one of those people who believe in lots of healthy fats, but you can easily just add more egg whites if you\u2019re not keen on the egg yolk.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"recipeTitle\">Oatmeal Protein Pancake<\/h2>\n<ol class=\"recipe\">\n<li>\u00bc cup quick cooking oats<\/li>\n<li>1 organic egg<\/li>\n<li>1 egg white<\/li>\n<li>1 scoop protein powder<\/li>\n<li>1 tbsp. organic ground flaxseed<\/li>\n<li>1 tbsp. unsweetened almond milk<\/li>\n<li>1 packet <a title=\"Truvia\" href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/PVoPGL\" target=\"_blank\">Truvia<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Just whisk up all those ingredients in a bowl. Pour onto a lightly misted (with olive oil) non-stick pan and cook! Simple as that\u2026it\u2019s such an easy breakfast to make and it literally takes just minutes. If you find it&#8217;s too dry, just add more almond milk!<\/p>\n<p>I topped mine with plain yogurt (you can sweeten it with <a title=\"Truvia\" href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/PVoPGL\" target=\"_blank\">Truvia<\/a> \u2013 it\u2019s what I do!) and fresh, organic strawberries from the garden.
