Graduation Day and Changes

Graduation Day

Hey there. I know.

It’s been a while. Life has taken a dramatic turn and I needed to step back and take a break for a few weeks. It was needful and worthwhile

During that time, I graduated. After two years of college, I now have a diploma in Exercise Science! A *virtual pat on the back inserted here*

Friends on Grad Day

It’s a wonderful feeling to finally be done college! Now I’m working on getting my CPT (certified personal trainer) with CSEP. It might be a couple months, but it’s all good. I’m not really in a rush.

(Graduation roses from my sister)

I feel like I should explain why the blogging stopped for this time…but I’m not going to go into detail as it’s not really my story to share.

On the day I graduated, one of my nephews choked and was without air for about 20 minutes. That time was enough for his brain activity to stop…during this time, you know…you just can’t do anything…except maybe pray and cry and wonder what God is doing.

But here’s the thing, he’s alive. God is working. And even when life isn’t good…God is. Through the years of my walking with God, the thing that is most real to me is that God is trustworthy…no matter what happens. The story isn’t finished being written yet….

Holding Hands

Anyway, I finally think I’m ready to come back and see what my new normal of life is like, now that I’m graduated and I’ve had some time off.

I’ll be posting regularly again and have some exciting plans for the future…thank you all for being such wonderful readers and supporting me through these last  few years. It’s been a good journey.

And when God is in it, it always is.

Congrats on your graduation. Thanks for taking the time to share it.

Sorry to hear about your nephew, although I’m glad he is still alive. The Lord works in mysterious ways. It’s a reminder to be grateful for everything He has given us.
