Green Deliciousness for Saint Patrick’s Day
Hey guys! This is just going to be a quick post to share with you a couple fun ideas for Saint Patrick’s!
These next few days are a little crazy for me and the family, so I’ll be back next week…today is my Grandma’s memorial service as well as well as an important exam I have at the college. After that, we’re hosting about 17 young people at our home for a weekend conference that our church is involved with. Add a big hockey game into the mix and the weekend is complete.
It’s in the busy-ness that we often forget to eat healthy. At least, I know that’s when I start to slide.
Starting the day with some green goodness is an easy way to get some nutrition in, before the day gets super crazy.
Most of you know I write recipes for FabFoods, so today, I’m just going to direct you guys on over there to check out a couple of my posts in honour of Saint Pat’s Day! Want some green smoothie recipes to choose from? I’ve shared some of my favourites!
Maybe you need a dessert idea for your big get-together?
I love this dessert so much. It’s a family favourite that we’ve made for years and it makes enough for a big crowd! It’s called the Seafoam Lime Dessert and it’s delicious, light, and low-calorie. It’s not necessarily healthy, but it’s definitely a worthy splurge.
Hope your Saint Pat’s Day is awesome! I’m still debating on whether or not to wear green…I’m such a girl and can’t think of an outfit I particularly like in green. All is vanity.

Green is my favorite color. Spring is (mostly) my favorite season. I cannot wait for St. Patrick’s Day.
(My little brother is celebrating his birthday by playing Laser Tag. He’s nine tomorrow. No drinking. Just fun fun little brother laser shooting.)
