Fastest breakfast ever. Coming right up!
Some protein, a little healthy fat, a small amount of carbs for energy, protein…some fibre…low calorie…and the yum factor…it’s all there.
Guys…I’m about to share with you one of my favourite quick (and I mean QUICK) breakfasts.
It’s honestly one of my go-to breakfasts, especially when I decided to not indulge in cereal quite so much. The typical store-bought cereal is high in carbs and sugar (even the healthy kinds!), so I save that for special and stick to my own breakfast creations on a day-to-day basis. This one is better than cereal and it’s surprisingly filling! I started making this a couple years ago and it is was one of my staple breakfasts.
Sweet and Easy PB Breakfast Muesli
- 2 tbsp. old fashioned oats (not quick)
- 1-2 tsp. chia seeds
- 2 tsp. almonds, chopped
- 1 tsp. hempseeds*
- 1 package of stevia, to taste
- /2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup almond milk, unsweetened**
- 1 tablespoon of Kraft all natural smooth peanut butter, melted
**I like to use my homemade almond milk recipe.
Directions: Mix everything, except the last three ingredients together in a bowl. Add vanilla and almond milk. Stir and then drizzle the PB on top. I like to warm the PB and top it like a frosting! Mmmm…
I really enjoy the all-natural smooth peanut butter from Kraft…it literally has ONE INGREDIENT. Peanuts. That’s it. And that’s how it’s supposed to be! Pure and simple.
I’m pretty particular about getting good fats in my diet, as long as they are simple and not laced with sugar. Honestly, let’s be honest, peanut butter is one of my favourite ways to get some of those fats in. Give me a spoon and let’s dig in (grin)!
Hope you enjoyed this oh-so-simple breakfast for when you’re on the go! I know I do. Thanks to Kraft, I have another recipe coming (think something spicy, hearty, but low carb and low sugar!) and you’re going to LOVE it. Visit Stick Together for more easy recipes! Also, WITH THAT POST there will be a Kraft Peanut Butter contest announcement!
What is your favourite thing to make with Kraft peanut butter? Or let’s be honest, do you just eat the whole jar straight? ;)
