Green Dream Smoothie

Green Dream Smoothie with Philosophie Superfoods

So far I’m loving the Philosophie Cleanse I’m doing. I’m drinking a ton of smoothies (sometimes a couple a day), and feeling great!

I asked Sophie if I could share one (or two!) of her amazing recipes and graciously said I could. I swear everything that Sophie makes is magically delicious. Add lots of cinnamon to this smoothie, don’t be shy! Cinnamon is good for balancing blood sugar, prevents cancer, has anti-bacterial properties, and boosts cognitive function and memory.

Green Dream Smoothie

  1. 8 oz almond/coconut milk
  2. 1 tbsp. Green Dream
  3. 1 tbsp. almond butter
  4. 1 tbsp. coconut butter*
  5. 1 c. spinach
  6. 1/2 frozen or fresh banana
  7. 1 tsp. agave, honey or touch of stevia (opt)
  8. LOTS of ice
  9. cinnamon (add lots!)

*I used 1/2 Philosophie superfood coconut butter and 1/2 coconut oil

This stuff is addicting-ly delicious. I’m very guilty of having a tablespoon of this off the spoon!

Directions: Blend everything into submission and enjoy.

I love this mug from HeyShabbyMe – she has the cutest mugs. Her shop started when she was getting ready for her wedding. She customized some things for her wedding and began to share all her ideas and designs with others. Her work is super adorable.

There are so many mugs I adore, but this one is for sure on my I WANT list.

    I have never thought to put coconut oil or butter in a smoothie. I bet it really adds to it. Looks very tasty!

    I recently started adding coconut oil into my coffee and blended with a little blender. I was on the verge of giving up coffee because of the creamer I was putting into it but now that I have found coconut oil that does not have to happen.

    I have been considering drinking more smoothies myself. I hear there are so many benefits to it and I want to take very good care of my body.

    That mug is super cute…I like it too.

    This looks absolutely delicious! I’ve heard of coconut oil in coffee but have never thought to include it in a smoothie! Can’t wait to try this recipe :)

    I think I need to do a large amount of pinterest pinning and grocery shopping! I’m jealous of all the colourful smoothies that I see! However, I’m still enjoying some good ol’ fruit and yogurt mixes for my breakfast!

    Whenever I make smoothies for my family that are green, they need to have a banana in it to ‘mask’ the flavour. Right now I’m loving beets and raspberries, but I do have at least 1 green smoothie a day. I am definitely trying this recipe tomorrow only subbing out nut-ingredients :) Thanks to you and your friend for sharing.

    AND YES, you need the mug as you quite deserve to be treated well and wear a tiara. :) Your voice could be from a disney princess movie FOR SURE (That’s a compliment)!
