I have figured out the best way to take spirulina! While I love my spirulina smoothies, sometimes it’s nice just to have a fruit one that isn’t…you know, green.
Here’s my solution: Mix just the very top of the smoothie (this one is a half juice/half smoothie) with your spirulina (or other superfood). Stir it in and drink up.
(Yes, it might look weird…)
I actually think it looks kind of pretty having the layered colours. Whatever the case, it’s really easy to drink just a small amount of it – and then really enjoy the rest of it.
While I don’t mind the taste of spirulina at all, I know some people don’t really dig the flavour…so this is a great option.
